The 4th edition of the Kings’ Tournament ended with a convincing victory of Magnus Carlsen, who scored 7,5 points out of 10 games (5 wins and 5 draws). The Norwegian showed an incredible performance of 2918 and strengthened his position of being the world number one on the FIDE Elo list.
An important aspect of this year’s edition is that half of the total games were decisive. Thus the spirit of the King’s Tournament to deliver uncompromising high class games was fulfilled and the participants showed their best qualities. The organizers promise to continue the tradition and make all chess lovers happy by enjoying the entertaining games of the future Kings’ Tournament’s editions.
